Catalan MonitorFeature, Interactive

The Catalan government has made public the definitive turnout figures for the November 9 non-binding referendum on independence, after the closure of the seven polling stations that remained opened for those who weren’t able to participate on November 9.

All in all, 2,344,828 people took part in the vote; 80.91% of citizens voted for full independence from Spain (responding Yes-Yes to the double question); 10.2% voted for a Catalan State within a federal or confederated Spain (Yes-No); and 4.49% voted for keeping the current Autonomous Community model or for the recentralization of powers (No).
