The senator of EH Bildu, Jon Inarritu, has sent parliamentary questions to the Spanish Ministry of the Interior to demand explanations regarding the presence of civil guards infiltrated in ultra groups. He also urged the ministry to appear in the Spanish Senate. He did so after the Guilleries group of the Mossos d’Esquadra issued a statement yesterday accusing two civil guards of attending a meeting of an ultra-right ideological group.
Buenos días @interiorgob !

According to the statement, they received notice of a meeting in a bar in Figueres from a group that was preparing to remove symbols of the Independence movement in different towns of the demarcation of Girona. The agents of the Catalan police went to the establishment and observed that among the ‘group that elicited the alert, two people came out that were put inside a black vehicle’. They followed it to intercept the vehicle: ‘The surprise occurred when the two people inside the van identified themselves as agents of the Civil Guard and the owner of the vehicle they were driving was the Secretary General of State Security’.
