MEP Enrique Calvet (formerly of Union, Progress and Democracy Party, UPyD, and currently an independent in the same group as C’s) has criticized the lawyer Gonzalo Boye in the Official Bar Association of Madrid for – according to him – “manipulating statements” from judge Pablo Llarena in the civil action presented against him by the exiles in Brussels. Boye has already informed the Belgian justice that it is a translation error, but Calvet wants to consider it a “procedural fraud.”

The same day that this news was announced, a manifesto was also drawn up against the reform by PSOE of the Historical Memory Law  and against the exhumation of Francisco Franco. It was signed by more than two hundred Spanish personalities, among them are politicians from PSOE, PP and Citizen’s as well as Calvet.
