This afternoon Jordi Turull, Josep Rull and Joaquim Forn arrived at the prison of Lledoners, in Sant Joan de Vilatorrada. The same penitentiary center entered by Oriol Junqueras, Raül Romeva, Jordi Sànchez and Jordi Cuixart just one week ago.
Like last week, the transfer from Can Brians to Lledoners was carried out in two vans from the Special Intervention Group (GEI) of the Mossos d’Esquadra (Catalan Police). One white and one red. At the entrance to the prison representatives of the CDR (Ed: Committees for the Defence of the Republic: citizen-led activist groups, self-organised by region) welcomed them by shouting “we are republic” and “freedom political prisoners”.
Turull, Rull and Forn have entered the admission wing and will sleep in module 2.
This afternoon, the Interior Minister, Miquel Buch, will visit his predecessor in charge, Joaquim Forn.
At 7 pm, the CDR’s rally against the imprisonment of political prisoners is again planned, as it was last week.
They are the last political prisoners to be transferred to Catalonia. The ministers and the Jordis are in Lledoners and Dolors Bassa and Carme Forcadell are in Puig de les Basses, in Figueres.
Turull, Rull and Forn arrived in Can Brians 2 in the morning from Zuera prison, in Zaragoza. Once in Catalonia, the Civil Guard handed the transfer to the Mossos who brought the three ministers to Lledoners.
They left early yesterday from Estremera prison and after joining other inmates in the center of Valdemoro began the trip to Catalonia.
They will be in module 2 in Lledoners, along with Junqueras, Romeva and the Jordis. The first few hours will involve the pertinent medical checkups and as of tomorrow they will be able to begin receiving visits, including one from the president Quim Torra.
