Unknown shooters fired gunshots at the balcony of a CUP (Popular Unity Candidacy) supporter, on Friday February 7th, said the CUP in Santa Perpètua de Mogoda. The supporter, a woman, had hung an “estelada” [Catalan pro-independence flag] from her balcony, according to the pro-independence party, who denounced the violence. In a tweet, the CUP denounced the occurrence as a crime of hatred: “Today [February 7] our people suffered an act of hate against one of our own, for the mere fact of hanging an estelada from a balcony. We denounce these facts”.
Avui el nostre poble ha sofert un acte d’odi a una companya pel simple fet de tenir una estelada penjada de la seva balconada. Denunciem aquests fets. #SensePor #Niunpasenrera pic.twitter.com/3ngBQgRstc
