Albert Velasco, conservationist of the Museum of Lleida, has reproached the government of Aragon after one of the tombstones transferred to the Monastery of Sixena was placed in front of an air conditioning column. ‘For reasons of preventive conservation, this column of air conditioning should not be there,’ Velasco said.

The above images were made public after the criticisms by the government of Aragon against the Museum of Lleida. The Minister of Culture of Aragon questioned the state of conservation of the works upon arrival in Aragon, and did not rule out claiming compensation for ‘mistreatment of the pieces’.
