They exited together, in the same van. Some relatives and political representatives of ERC and PDeCAT awaited them just at the edge of the prison property. Bassa and Borràs spent one month and two days imprisoned and were able to leave after paying the deposit of one hundred thousand euros each one which was imposed by Supreme Court, Pablo Llarena. The van stopped briefly on the way out to collect their closest relatives, including Borràs’s mother and Bassa’s two children.

The bail was imposed by Supreme Court judge, Pablo Llarena, who issued the same precautionary measure for cabinet counsellors Carles Mundó, Raül Romeva, Jordi Turull and Josep Rull. However, Oriol Junqueras, Joaquim Forn, Jordi Cuixart and Jordi Sànchez were all remanded to jail, and continued their stays behind bars.
Bassa gave thanks for support she received since her entry to prison and demanded the release of the remaining political prisoners.
